It was night-time at New Domino City. Luna is walking home after a day at her friend's. She then stopped at a zebra crossing. She was waiting for the light to turn green. Unbeknownst to her, a duel monster appeared behind her. It looked like a cute looking witch.
Noticing Luna at the zebra crossing, this gave her an opportunity. She raised her wand and zapped Luna on the back of her neck. Luna felt the little harmless spark on the back of her neck and turned around, only to fine no one. She then noticed the light has turned green and walked to the other side of the road.
When she made it to her penthouse however, she was feeling groggy. Her brother, Leo was browsing his deck when he noticed Luna feeling weird. "Is something the matter Luna?" he asked concerningly. "I feel unwell, Leo. I wasn't like this when I left my friend's." Luna groggily replied. Leo got up from the sofa and walked up to her, crossing his arms. "Well Luna, I think you need to get some re-" Leo tried to continue, but paused when he noticed something wrong with Luna's ears.
"Uhh, Luna? Your ears?" Leo asked. Luna then felt her ears. They felt... inhuman. She then looked into a nearby mirror. She gasped in shock as they grew longer and being covered in grey hair. Luna tried to tug her ears to see if this whole ordeal is just a dream, but she then yelped in reaction. It wasn't a dream. Leo watched in shock and horror. She then felt an unnerving feeling coming from behind her. A tail slithered from her backside. Long, painted in grey hair and had a little brush at the end. "Luna! What happening to you?!?" Leo asked. "I don't know LEEEEEEAAAWWW!" Luna replied, but she covered her mouth when she found out that what she spoke then, wasn't human. It sounded like a donkey's bray. She then groaned in pain as her spine contorted, forcing her on all fours, with Leo becoming more and more horrified. "What's hAAAWWWpening to mEEEEEE HAAAWWW?!?" Luna asked as her human voice slowly became braying. She then bucked off her shoes and socks as her feet started to change. She felt her toes merge and become grey hooves. She then looked at her fingers as the same thing happened to them. She then felt her legs, or rather her hindlegs shorten in size to be on level with her arms, or rather her forelegs. She then felt more grey fur being painted all over her body. She then felt her torso as it barrelled out, losing any of her girl curves and her neck then thickened. Her head remained unchanged, but not for long. Her skull then lengthens as more grey fur covered her face like a snake's venom. Finally, her teeth grew blocky and her nostrils flared. "T-this... this cAAAWWWn't bEEE hAAAWWWppenEEEEEEng to mEEEEEE HAWWW! HEEEEEE HAAAWWW! HEEEEEE HAAAWWW!" Luna cried out, but her human voice has completely become nothing more but braying.
Luna has now become a donkey, with the only things remaining of her being her hair, eyes and memories. "Luna? Are you OK?" Leo asked. Luna could only bray in response. Leo placed his hand on her muzzle. "Don't worry Luna, I'll try to find a way to change you back." Leo replied.
